Maliha has extensive experiences in digital services and investment banking industry. She recently ran Vistaprint's digital business in global emerging markets out of Singapore. Prior to this, she worked for Nokia, taking care of strategy and business development for an emerging market focused on digital content service called Nokia Life Tools across multiple geographies.

In the early part of her career, Maliha worked in Investment Banking, Utilities Mergers and Acquisition team of Morgan Stanley in New York and San Francisco, and also in Debt Capital Markets of Standard Chartered Bank in Singapore. She has an MBA from Harvard Business School and BA in Computer Science and Economics from Smith College (USA).

Bangladeshi ride-hailer Shohoz raises $15m

Shohoz, a Bangladesh-based online ride-sharing and ticketing platform, announced today that it has raised US$15 million pre-series B investment. Shohoz lets consumers book car and motorbike rides for their daily commute, reserve bus and ferry seats, and even buy movie tickets from its website and app. It will use the fresh capital for customer acquisition and retention and expand into other on-demand services.
